Gary R. Fryza, 59, of Niagara Falls NY died on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Teddy J. and Marie Irene (Huard) Fryza.

Gary was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. He attended local schools, graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School and later served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Gary was a member of the local carpenter's union and worked at various area construction sites. Most notably, he owned and operated Ted Mar's on Packard Road in Niagara Falls, the family business started by his parents.

Gary is survived by his aunts and uncles Ruth (Richard) Nye of West Palm Beach, FL and Boleslaw "Barney" (Eva) Salacinski of Lewiston, NY; his great-aunt Helen Lauzonis of Lewiston, NY and many cousins.

Friends may call on Sunday from 1 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Everyone is invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday March 9th at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 4th Street, Niagara Falls NY with Rev. Michael Burzynski, Ph.D. officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE IN CHURCH. Interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
