Genevieve E. Biancuzzo, 83, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Saturday March 13, 2010 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo "Vincent" and Marie Rose (Donato) Matarrese, Sr.

Genevieve was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. She had worked as a hostess at the former Georgian Pancake House and Biagio's Restaurant, was an office worker at the former Carborundum Corporation, and was employed at Nabisco Shredded Wheat Company, all in Niagara Falls. Genevieve also worked for a few years for the City of Niagara Falls as a crossing guard and a meter maid. In her leisure, she enjoyed singing, crocheting and tending to her flower garden, especially her violets.

Mrs Biancuzzo is survived by her son Vincent F. (Helen) Biancuzzo of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren Michael, Marianne, and Matthew Biancuzzo; three great-grandchildren Tayvien, Amaris, and Dominic; two sisters Marie (late Casimer) Kroll of St. Petersburg, FL, Gloria (late Joseph) Tedesco of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers Vincent (Pam) (late Frances) Matarrese, Jr, of Niagara Falls, NY and Benjamin J. Matarrese, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Genevieve was predeceased by a son, Joseph Biancuzzo and a sister, Dolores Matarrese.

COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin Tuesday March 16th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo Church, 2748 Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
