George L. Clarke, 71, of Williamsville, NY died on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Born in Portland, Oregon he was the son of the late George W. Clarke and Melba (Yost) Clarke.

George was educated in Oregon and earned a Master's Degree from the University of Portland. He was a gifted musician and was currently employed as an organist and choir master at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph parish at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Prior to that he was an organist at various other area churches. George was a member of the American Guild Organist and the Church Musicians Guild.

George is survived by his wife, Mary Anne (Schmidt) Clarke, two sons Peter Clarke and Andrew (Jennifer) Clarke both of Oregon and two grandchildren.

There will be no prior visitation. Everyone is invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday July 9th at 10 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
