George A. Tomko, Jr., also known as Dadeo, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Emlenton, PA, he was the son of the late George A. Tomko, Sr. and Lena (Serafine) Tomko‑Bowser (late William Bowser).
George was employed at Butler Trucking in Niagara Falls, NY for over 20 years. He loved his dog, Jordan, gardening, growing flowers and vegetables, and tinkering in his garage, always fixing things. His favorite place to meet friends was the 7 Clan on the Tuscarora Reservation. George was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Above all, he loved his family and their gatherings.
George is survived by his wife, Caryn C. (Clegg) Tomko; his daughter, Melanie G. Tomko; grandchildren, Anthony C. Tomko (Shelby) and Brandon E. Rice; his beautiful great‑granddaughter, Audrey E. Tomko; his siblings, Linda (late Ernie, Sr.) Parshall, Larry Tomko, and William Tomko; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his children, Anthony G. “Tony” Tomko and Maureen C. (Tomko) Rice (late Edwin, Jr.), as well as by his twin brothers, Jack Tomko and John Tomko.
There will be no prior visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial offerings may be made to an animal rescue shelter of your choice in George’s name. Arrangements by M.J.
