George M. Wright Jr. 54 of Niagara Falls, NY died on Friday December 26, 2008 in Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of Virgie M. 'Billie' Wright of Texas and late George M. Wright Sr.. George served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed stateside in Ft. Bragg North Carolina as well as abroad in North Korea. Following his honorable discharge, George also served in the United States Army Reserve. For the past twenty years, he worked as a cook for the Como Restaurant and former Goose's Roost Restaurant in Niagara Falls, NY.

In addition to his mother, George is survived by his children; Heather Wright of Virginia, George Aron Wright of Niagara Falls, NY and Robert W. Wright of Youngstown, NY, one grandson Noah, three brothers and two sisters; John (Karen) Wright of Virginia, Wesley Wright, Donna Wright, Janet Wright and William (Sherry) Wright all of Texas, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Interment with military honors will be held in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery Dallas, Texas at the convenience of the family.
