Gerald Lee 'Jerry' Jones, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in San Jose, CA, he was the son of Bettye (Powell) Putian and the late Lee Roy Jones.

Jerry was the beloved husband of Kathleen "Kathy" (Vance) Jones whom he married on October 9, 1999, and together they lived in Redwood City, CA. for 12 years before relocating to Kathy's hometown of Niagara Falls in 2011.

Jerry had a long and valued employment at Weatherly Striping Co. in San Carlos, CA. A talented guitarist and drummer, he played professionally as well as at the churches he and Kathy attended and where he lived out his faith as a devoted Christian. Above all, he cherished spending time with his wife and family.

In addition to his wife of 25 years, Jerry is survived by two sons, Tyler Jones and Corey (Mayia) Jones; grandson Santi Jones; three siblings, Bryan Allen Powell, Jenniffer Jones and Phyllis (Rick) Gruber, several step brothers and sisters, many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many beloved friends and neighbors.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held privately. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.
