Geraldine "Gerry" (nee McGuire) Cafaro, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Wednesday October 20, 2010 at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Born and educated in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (McFadden) McGuire.

In 1953 she married Nick Cafaro in Scranton, PA and together they moved to the Niagara Falls area. Mr. Cafaro predeceased her on September 30, 2009, after fifty-three years of marriage. Gerry worked for many years as a housekeeper at various hotels in the Niagara Falls, NY area.

Survivors include her children Nicholas (Jackie) Cafaro of Getzville, NY; Francis (Linda) Merolillo of Monogahela, PA; David (Marguerite) Cafaro; and Anthony Cafaro both of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters in Pennsylvania, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gerry was predeceased by her son, Joseph Cafaro, and 9 siblings.

Visitation on Saturday October 23rd from 11:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD.
