Gilbert Walton, Jr. 56 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on September 17, 2017.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Gilbert Walton, Sr. and late Joan (Confer) Walton.

Gilbert was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools.  He worked as a carpenter for various local contractors, and most recently was self-employed.  Gil was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed camping and fishing.  In his leisure time, he also enjoyed tending to his garden and riding his tractor.

In addition to his father, Gilbert is survived by his daughter, Kayla A. Walton, his girlfriend, Charlene Morales, a brother Mark Walton as well as nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by one brother, John Walton and two sisters, Debbie Walton and Diane Peddicord.
