Gina M. Ross, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1st, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (DeRose) Ruffolo.

Gina was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, where she attended Trott Vocational High School. On January 29, 1955, she married Paul Ross at St. Joseph Church. Mr. Ross predeceased her on March 13, 2008. Gina was employed at several local stores throughout Niagara Falls including the former Unique's Ice Cream Shop, A & P and Robert Halls stores. She was also the treasurer of the Woodlawn Avenue Block Watch Club and was generous to many charity organizations throughout the country. Gina was an avid writer and a talented painter. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Gina is survived by her children Michael (Amy) Ross, Sara-Anne Leo, Marie Hogan and Carole (Bob) McGee; grandchildren Gina Ross, Anthony (Tina) Ross, David (fiancé Jessica) Stevens, Amie Hogan, Jennifer (fiancé Bernie) McGee and Robert McGee; and her great-grandchildren Gwen, Clark, Jaden, Abigail and Lauren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gina was predeceased by her siblings Mary (late Massimo) Cloquel, Adeline (late Nick) LeSacchi, Gilda (late Paul) Messina, Rita (late Joseph) Polaster and Tony (late Nellie) Ruffolo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 5th at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY or the Susan G.
