Gino (Louis) Cieri passed away on March 5, 2020 at the age of 87 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Pollutri, Italy, the son of Clicerio and Rosa Cieri. He immigrated to Niagara Falls in 1948.

Gino was instrumental in creating Division Market with his brothers in North Tonawanda, NY, where he worked for 28 years. At the age of 42, he went to work as a butcher at the Como Restaurant. He continued to work there until his passing.

Gino loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed socializing at weekend breakfasts, gardening, and home renovation projects with his children. One of his greatest joys was to make Soppressata and other specialty meats.

Gino is survived by three children, Gina Eagan, Michael (Tina) Cieri, and Cindy (Sean) McConnaghy; his six grandchildren, Joshua and Casey Eagan, Brittany (Dan) Snyder, Jessica Cieri, Erin and Luke McConnaghy; his brother, Angelo (Enrica) Cieri, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Cieri and his wife of 55 years Marie (Zewin) Cieri, and his brother Nicholas Cieri.
