Giovanna Notarianni Scardamaglia, 72 of Lamezia Terme, Catanzaro, Italy, passed away on Tuesday August 18, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Teresa (Falvo) Notarianni. Giovanna was predeceased by her husband Pasquale Scardamaglia, and is survived by her three children; Dr. Anna Maria (Dr. Antonio Luchino) Scardamaglia, Pina (Francesco) Curcio and Salvatore (Morena) Scardamaglia all of Lamezia Terme, Catanzaro, eight grandchildren, three brothers; Dominic (late Petrina) Notarianni of Lewiston, NY, Giovanni (late Giovanna) Notarianni, Vincenzo (Maria) Notarianni both of Niagara Falls, Ontario and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three bothers, Francesco (late Nina) Notarianni, Giuseppe Notarianni, Salvatore (late Ninetta) Notarianni and one sister Concetta (late Vincenzo) Rocca.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Wednesday September 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Our Lady of the Scapular Parish, 6557 Thorold Stone Road Niagara Falls Ontario, Canada.
