Obituary

Glen L. Campbell III, 68, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Gowanda, NY, he was the son of the late Glen L. Campbell, Jr. and Wanda May (Chapman) Campbell.

After graduating high school, Glen enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving with the Military Police from 1976 until his honorable discharge in 1977. He later returned to school to earn his Associate’s Degree and went on to build a long and dedicated career as a machine operator at Arcadia Graphics in Cheektowaga, where he worked for 18 years. He then spent 11 years as a dealer at the Seneca Niagara Casino. On September 12, 2009, he married Marilyn “Mary” A. (Pangburn) Campbell in West Seneca, NY.

Through his work and throughout his life, Glen met countless people and formed lasting friendships. He was known by all as an exceptionally kind and generous soul—someone who would do anything for anyone. In his quiet moments, he enjoyed puzzles, building projects, and spending time outdoors. Above all, Glen cherished his family. He will be remembered as a sweet, caring man who always made time for the people he loved.

In addition to his devoted wife of 16 years, Glen is survived by his children, Christopher Whitney, Glen L. (Diana) Campbell IV, Aaron Campbell, and Ryan Campbell; his step-children, Stephanie L. Hilbert, Donald L. (Sabrena) Hilbert, and Katrina J. Potter; and his sisters, Diana Billerbeck and Pat Nadolny. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A committal service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, June 25, at 1:00 PM at the WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd., Corfu, NY 14036. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
