Gloria Garneau Bachleda, 77 of Niagara Falls, NY went to her heavenly home. Her sunset came on Saturday November 5, 2011. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of Lillian Learn Bodie of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Charles E. Learn, Sr. and step-daughter of the late Kenneth Bodie who raised Gloria.

Gloria was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. She worked as front desk clerk at the former Scenic Inn and Howard Johnsons both in Niagara Falls. Gloria was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Ladies Auxiliary in Niagara Falls. She loved to cook, bake and play bingo. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Benson.

Gloria was predeceased by her husband Frank A. Bachelda, and former husband Raymond T. Garneau. She is survived by her three children, Steven D. (Deborah Koziel) Garneau, Crystal Garneau and Cindy (Fred) Dojka all of Niagara Falls, NY and Jerome Metro who was like a son to Gloria. She was known as Nan to her two grandsons, Ryan Dojka and Michael Garneau, and is also survived by her brother Charles E. (MaryJane) Learn of Niagara Falls, NY a sister Marjorie (Pete) Deepsky of Niagara Falls, NY, her aunt Marge Kuchy and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one sister Faith Crogan.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY.
