Gloria J. Vespa, 72, of Lewiston, NY, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Marino) Vespa.

Gloria attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by the Federal Government in various capacities and received several commendations of excellence for her duties during her 30 year career. Gloria was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Mary of the Cataract Church in Niagara Falls, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also member of the Ladies Cristoforo Colombo Society, serving six years as an officer, including four terms as President. Gloria also belonged to the Madonna Soccorso Society and was a member of the Socialites senior group.

Gloria is survived by one brother, Felix (Flora) Vespa of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister, Evelyn (late Rocco) Zendano of Lewiston, NY, as well as several loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by her dear friend, Donna Marie Cipollitti.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23rd from 3 – 7:00 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 24th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
