Gordon B. Smith, 81, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at his residence. Born in Duluth, Minnesota, he was the son of the late Basil and Bernice (Gidbout) Smith; and beloved husband of Joyce (George) Smith, whom he married at Prince of Peace Church.

Gordon moved to the area as a teenager. He was dedicated to his career as an Instrument Technician at the Carborundum Company for over 40 years prior to his retirement.

Gordon loved technology and was a prideful HAM Radio operator. He was also a longtime member of the LaSalle Sportsman Club, a parishioner of St. Peter's Church, and their Holy Name Society. Above all, Mr. Smith devoted to his loving family who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, John (Cynthia) Smith and Terrilyn (John) Scozzafava; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Gabrielle, Jillian and Ian; and his step-grandchildren, Jason and Rachel. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Arianna and two step great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Ella, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his infant baby Michael and two brothers, Clifford (Sharon) Smith and Randall (Janice) Smith.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 16 from 4 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 9:30 A.M., followed by Mr. Smith's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY.
