Greg C. Malstrom, 66 of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on August 31, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Helen (MacDonald) Malstrom.

Greg came to the area as a child with his family.  He graduated from LaSalle Sr. High School and later earned a degree from Ohio Technical College in Cleveland, OH.  On August 23, 1980, he married Kathryn (Muscatello) Malstrom.  Greg was employed for over 30 years as a Millwright with the New York State Power Authority in Lewiston, NY.  He enjoyed woodworking, boating, watching the Toronto Maple Leafs and scuba diving.  More than anything, Greg was extremely devoted to his family, and cherished the time he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 42 years, Greg is survived by his children, Corey (Elisabeth) Malstrom, Christy (Gregory) Mastin, Kyle Malstrom, Kelly Malstrom and Katie Malstrom; his grandchildren, Colton Malstrom, Bryce Malstrom, Parker Mastin, Layton Mastin and Beckett Mastin; his brothers, Grant (Bea Bea) Malstrom and Garth (Carla) Malstrom, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his sister, Lois (late John) Lynch.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Greg's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 7 at 11 AM at St. Jude The Apostle, 800 Niagara Falls Boulevard, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.  Everyone please assemble at church.  Private interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, at the convenience of the family.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/donate.
