Gurmail S. Kandola, 58, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Tuesday April 19, 2011 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Punjab, India he was the son of the late Kishan S. and Chanan K. (Sangha) Kandola.
Gurmail owned and operated the Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Niagara Falls. In his leisure time Gurmail loved to work in his garden.
Gurmail is survived by his wife, Ranjit K. (Kullar) Kandola, six children, Sarbjit (Arvinder) Sunner of Burlington, Ont., Jagtar (Amandeep) Kandola of Brampton, Ont., Jagjit Kandola, Daljit (Pardeep) Dosanjh, Sukhjit Kandola and Kuljit Kandola all of Niagara Falls, NY; five grandchildren, two sisters, four brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Friday from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday April 23rd at 10 a.m. followed by services at Memorial Park Cemetery 5871 Military Road Lewiston, NY.
