Hazel Hicks, 31, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2023.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Stephanie (Courtney) Daniels and Jonathan (Courtney) Hamilton.

Hazel recently returned to the Niagara Falls area from Georgia, where she worked as a nursing assistant at an Assisted Living Facility in Stone Mountain.  She was previously employed as a supervisor at Seneca Niagara Casino.  Hazel loved to dance, music, cooking, and fashion.  She will be remembered most for her love of children, the love she had for her siblings, spending time with her friends and being the life of the party.

In addition to her parents, Hazel is survived by her siblings, Jaerode (Luchianna) Seright, Ra'jah Johnson, Nijah Cox, Asialynn Hamilton, Chyna Hamilton, Jared Murray, Jaiden Munn, Jonathan Hamilton Jr, and Jonathan Iveys, nieces and nephews Namariah, Juels, Jayzier, Jaylonnie, Jream,  Kairah, Johanna & Genesee. Her best friends Ikea, Layla, Jasmine and Rahsaan as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Karen Stephens and Steven Hicks, and paternal grandparents, Esther P. and Claudie Hamilton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20 from 11 – 12 Noon at New Jerusalem Life Church, 2723 20th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, 14305, where funeral services will begin at 12 Noon. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.
