Helen M. Blose, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Anita, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Raphael (Renn) Lorelli.

Helen married her beloved husband, William Blose on October 30, 1948, in Punxsutawney, PA. Together they moved to Niagara Falls, NY in 1949, where they spent 62 memorable years together prior to his passing on June 25, 2011.

Helen was employed as the manager of the cosmetic department at the former Bier's Department Store and was also the assistant manager of the former Hens and Kelly's cosmetic department.

Helen obtained her beautician's license from Niagara Hairstyling and Beauty Culture School in 1983. She worked as a hairstylist for many years until retiring at the age of 80.  Helen was a longtime volunteer at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine and longtime member of her block club. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, frequent trips to the Casino and scratching lottery tickets. Above all, Mrs. Blose especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Blose is survived by her daughter, Geralyn Blose, and Geralyn's daughter Jessica (Eric) Blose-Jagodzinski, who was so grateful for her loving grandmother. She is also survived by her daughter Deborah (Charles) Quinn, and their children Steven (Tracey) Quinn and Cory (Mandy) Quinn; her great-grandchildren, Steven, Jr., Lauren, Justin and Jackson; her siblings, Louise (late John) Murajda, Millie (late Gerald) Gouge, Samuel (Marge) Lorelli and Joseph (Helen) Lorelli; her niece who was like another daughter to her, Janette Gouge; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four siblings.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 5 ^th from 10 - 11:00 A.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
