Helen M. Buzzelli, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13 ^th , 2018, at her residence surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Marquette, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Grant) Hargrave.

Helen moved to Niagara Falls as a child with her family and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  On April 26, 1952 she married her loving husband, Frank G. Buzzelli, Sr. at St. Joseph Church.

Helen was a devout Catholic and especially devoted to the Blessed Mother. She was a longtime, active parishioner of Prince of Peace Church where she was also member of the Sodality of Mary group.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed ceramics and cooking. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who centered her entire life around her family.

In addition to her husband of 65 years, Mrs. Buzzelli is survived by her children, Barbara (James) Ciurczak, Frank (Mercille) Buzzelli, Jr., Mark (Cheryl) Buzzelli, James (Eda) Buzzelli and Steven (Anne) Buzzelli; grandchildren, Lisa (James), Gina (Jason), David (Tiffany), Craig (Jaime), Kevin (Samantha), Heather, Christina (David), Carla (Vaughan), Gino (Nadeen), Gabriella, Steve and Ariana; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Hargrave, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank (late Theresa) Hargrave, Robert (Patricia) Hargrave, Donald (late Marge) Hargrave and Paul (Joanne) Hargrave.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 16 ^th from 3 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 11:15 A.M. followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
