Helen M. (Yocco) Carosella, 98 passed away on Saturday January 14, 2017. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY the daughter of the late Ralph and Lena Yocco. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Carosella in 1962, her sisters, Clara (Joseph) DiMartile, Jennie (Phil) Frachella and Mary Yocco, her brothers, Andrew (Rose) Yocco and John (Antoinette) Yocco.

Helen was employed as a senior library clerk at the Niagara Falls Public library for 14 years and then worked part time and as a volunteer for an additional 25 years. Helen loved her work and made thousands of dollars for the library with the book sales she planned and coordinated. She received many awards and honors in recognition of all her work. She was 'Aunt Helen' to the children and adults who knew her.

She is survived by her nephew, Joseph W. Carosella, with whom she lived for many years, her nieces, Frances (James) Volpe, Carmy (late Bob) Dabney, Nellie (late Chris) DiMartile, Mary Ann (Richard) Wozniak, Anna (Mark) Bruno and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Helen's family is grateful for the loving care given to her by, Mary Patterson, Colleen Duncan and Christine Weber.

There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 18th at 12 Noon in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph's Church 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Hospice Buffalo 225 Como Park Blvd. Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Arrangements by M.J.
