Henrietta "Hank" D'Amore, 97, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, reuniting with her beloved husband, Albert, on the same day he passed 12 years prior. They were married on September 18, 1948, at St. Joseph's Church. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Sabatino "Sam" and Immaculata (Quaglia) Giancola.

Henrietta graduated from Niagara Falls High School and began working at the Carborundum Company. She also worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Bell Aircraft before dedicating 20 years of service at Edward Town Middle School, where she eventually retired.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Henrietta, was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. She was extremely organized, caring and giving. Henrietta was a longtime member of the Colonial Drive Ladies Lunch Club, and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Above all, she cherished the memories made with her beloved family.

Mrs. D'Amore is survived by her children, Linda (Sal) Palermo, Thomas A. D'Amore, Mary (Jeffrey) Binga and Joseph D'Amore, and was sadly predeceased by her son, John D'Amore. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Martine (Roger) Marino, Marina Palermo, Mara Palermo, Marli Palermo, Jeffrey Binga II (Autumn Flederbach), Ali (Eric) Yaeger and Sam D'Amore; eight great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Donato "Danny" (late Antoinette "Dedy") Giancola and Lorraine (Angelo) Cirraolo.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 29 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Henrietta's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 30 at 10:00 AM in St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Niagara Hospice.
