Hilda R. Marcheschi, age 100, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2024 in Lockport Rehab and Health Center. Born in Akron, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Pauline (Corporali) Casseri.

Hilda was raised in Akron where she graduated from high school. She married her beloved husband, Carl J. Marcheschi at St. Theresa's Church in Akron and moved to Niagara Falls. Hilda was an avid bingo player and enjoyed crocheting, as well as tending to her garden. Above all, Hilda centered her life around being a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt.

Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Carl in 1998; and her siblings, Bertha Rickwalt, Lillian Zigrossi, Eva Bordonaro, Madeline Scotch, Mary Draicchio, Frank Casseri, Gerald Casseri and Andrew Casseri.

She is survived by her daughter, Marlene B. Marcheschi; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 7 from 10 - 12 Noon at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
