Hopeton O'Neil Hall, age 74, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, June 14, 2024. Born in St. Ann, Alexandria, Jamaica, he was the son of the late Reuben and Julia (Simms) Hall; and the nephew to his beloved late Aunt Amy Hall, whom raised him after Julia sadly passed away at a young age.

Hopeton was raised in Jamaica and moved to Canada in the early 1990s where he was employed for many years. He relocated to Niagara Falls where he happily spent the last 25 years working, as well as entertaining his family and friends. Hopeton was an excellent cook and had a passion for music. Above all, he loved being the presence of his family who will miss him dearly.

Hopeton is survived by his wife, Diane (Harper) Hall; his children, Courtney (Shylisa) Hall, Patrick Anthony (Lurline) Hall, LaVern Hall, Miguel Hall, Kipling O'Neil Hall, Akiera Hall, Lincon (Felicia) Hall and Natasha Hall; step-children, Lataina Harper, Tykeisha Harper and Rondell Ralands, as well as a host of grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29 from 10 - 11 AM at the family's residence, 1310 Pierce Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Interment will be held privately in Jamaica. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
