Howard C. Irish, 56, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Calvin R. and Anne (Johnson) Irish.

Howard attended local schools and lived in Florida for several years until returning to Niagara Falls where he currently resided. He was employed by the Carborundum Co. and also worked as a landscaper while living in Niagara Falls. Howard was extremely intelligent and had diverse knowledge. He loved to cook and also enjoyed fishing and landscaping work. Howard had great sense of humor and always had a joke to tell. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Howard is survived by his daughter Sara (Robert) Winslow, Jr.; two grandchildren, Miranda and Reed; his loving companion Marcia Gilbo of Niagara Falls, NY, three sisters, Calene (Ronald) Irish Rybarczyk of Cambria, NY; Barbara (late Cody) Irish Denton of Englewood, FL and Delores (Dennis) Irish Ketch of Youngstown, NY;; his nieces and nephews, Maryanne Rybarczyk, John Rybarczyk and Kathleen Rybarczyk as well as several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his dearest friend Butch Nocera. He was also predeceased by his former wife Shelley (Ferrusi) Harris.

Visitation will be on Friday April 26th from 4 – 5 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. with Joanne Lorenzo officiating.
