Ida B. Mayflower of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on November 11, 2015 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Coppola and Mary (Ferra) Coppola.

Ida was raised and educated in Lockport, NY, where she graduated from Lockport High School. On February 15, 1958 she married Bernard "Babe" Mayflower in Lockport and later moved to Niagara Falls in 1960. Ida was employed as a secretary of Grande Construction Company, as well as various insurance agencies throughout Niagara Falls. She was a current member of ISDA Cataract Lodge #240 and longtime volunteer in the gift shop at the N.F. Memorial Medical Center, where she was recently honored for over 20 years of dedication. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading and watching the New York Yankees.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by her two children Mary Ellen (Thomas) Bradley and Michael (Wendy) Mayflower both of Niagara Falls; four grandchildren Thomas Bradley, Joseph (Lauren) Bradley, Sarah Bradley, James (Stephanie) Mayflower and one great-grandson Dominic Bradley. Ida is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers John (late Helen) Coppola and Alfred (Rose of Lockport, NY) Coppola.

There will be no prior visitation. Friends and family are invited to celebrate a Memorial Mass on Friday, November 13th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Raphael's Church, 3840 Macklem Ave., Niagara Falls, NY Rev. Ivan Skenderovic officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, Lockport, NY will take place at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY or St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
