Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother
Inez D. (D'Andrea) Caraglin, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday July 22, 2009 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Angela D'Andrea.
Inez, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On April 15, 1950 she married Anthony Caraglin at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Inez was employed at the former National Carbon in Niagara Falls. She was also a seamstress for several years at various area bridal shops. In her leisure time she enjoyed bowling and playing cards with her friends.
In addition to her husband of fifty nine years, Mrs. Caraglin is survived by two sons Robert (Colleen) Caraglin of Niagara Falls, NY and Anthony Caraglin, Jr. of Grand Island, NY; three grandchildren Shannon (Bill) Fundis, Janelle (Jeff) Vicki and Christopher Caraglin all of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters Lillian (late Mario) DeMarchi and Zania (late Paul) Schiro both of Niagara Falls, NY ; two sisters-in-law Mary (late Anthony) Tedesco and Dorothy (late Frank) Caraglin both of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one grandson Robert Caraglin, two brothers Joseph (late Ester) Taddie, Arnie (Mary) D'Andrea; one sister Sylvia (late Joseph) Metro. She was the daughter-in-law of the late Giovanni and Giovanna Caraglin and sister-in-law of the late Bonita (late Stan) Kawara, James (late Katherine) Caraglin and Sr. Jean Patrice Caraglin.
Friends may call on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS NY where funeral services will begin on Saturday July 25th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent DePaul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY at 10:00A.M.
