Inez (Mays) Gregory was born on April 8, 1948 to the late Horse Beatty and Pearlie (Mays) Ross in Jasper, Texas. Inez departed this life at the age of 66 early Sunday morning, February 15, 2015 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was united in holy matrimony to Tommie Gregory on July 20, 1968, and to this union two children were born.

Inez attended Niagara Falls High School and graduated in 1965. She was employed with the Carborundum Company, Fairchild Manor Nursing Home and retired from the HANCI House. Inez loved her family and enjoyed the frequent impromptu gatherings they would have. She was affectionately known as "Bean" by those near and dear to her. Her passion was cooking; she would prepare big meals and share them with family, friends and even strangers. If you had a need she was always ready to assist in any way that she could.

Inez was a faithful member of the Potter's House Christian Community Church since 1996. She was dedicated to the work of the ministry serving on the Potter's House Executive Board, as the Church Treasurer, chairperson of Hospitality, a member of the Golden Crowns Senior Ministry and as the Official Church Hugger.

Inez leaves to cherish her memory her husband Tommie Gregory; her daughter, Trina Gregory, her "Big Baby", son Lyntell "Mutt" Gregory both of Niagara Falls, NY; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; her step-children, Bishop Tommie Gregory, Jr. of Terre Haute, IN, Sharon Black of Cleveland, OH, Joyce (Curtis) Truss of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Glendora Elder, three brothers Albert Dean (Ruby) Mays, Horace Collins both of Jasper, TX; Herman (late Anita) Palmer of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters Lanora (George) Winn and Tasha Palmer both of Niagara Falls, NY; special friends Evangelist Celestine Booze, Linda Palmer, Carrie Brown, her "Big Brother" Archbishop Stephan Booze and a host of nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Jimmie (Marie) Mays, Sargent (Cheryl) Palmer and one sister Geraldine Palmer.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 20th from 11AM- 12 Noon at Potter's House Christian Community Church, 723 Seventh Street, Niagara Falls, NY followed by a funeral service at 12:00 Noon with Archbishop Stephan Booze officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the Potters House Christian Community Church, 723 Seventh Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
