Inez M. Mancini, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 27, 2023 at Elderwood at Lockport.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stefano and Bernardina (Cimichella) Canali.

Inez was a 1944 graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  She was employed for 6 years as a secretary for Marine Midland Trust Company during the 1940's.  On August 16, 1950, she married Anthony J. Mancini at St. Joseph Church.  Mr. Mancini predeceased her on October 14, 2013.  Inez was employed as a receptionist for her brother, Dr. Guelfo Canali, for 27 years until her retirement in the late 1990's.  A longtime member of St. Joseph Church, Inez was a member of the Sodality of Mary, the Senior Citizens Society, and the Mother's Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, playing bingo, completing crossword puzzles, and cooking.  Above all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family whenever they were together.

Inez is survived by four children, Rev. John S. Mancini, O.S.F.S.; Paul A. Mancini; Judith (Abe) Aviles and Anthony B. (Pamela) Mancini; three grandchildren Steven Mancini, Gracelyn Aviles and Samantha Aviles; her sister, Frances (Elio) Marchetti, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 63 years, she was predeceased by her brother, Dr. Guelfo (late Marilyn) Canali.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by Inez's Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, 14301.  Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales (O.S.F.S.), PO Box 2868, Toledo, OH 43606.
