Irene M. Balbo, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY entered into rest Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Genevieve (Tevens) Bartlett. Her Husband Dolf Balbo predeceased her December 26, 1974.

Mrs. Balbo lived in Niagara Falls all her life and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She worked in the maintenance department for Niagara Falls School Board of Education.

Irene is survived by her two daughters and one son, Michele (Charles) White, Jr. of Michigan, Marie Porter of Florida and William (Valerie DeMonico) Balbo of Lockport, NY., One brother Robert (Nancy) Bartlett of North Tonawanda, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother and sister Larry Bartlett and Melva Neause.

There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a graveside ceremony Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:00am in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
