Irene (Felicetti) Lucchetti, 89, entered into eternal life on June 28, 2015, in Elderwood Skilled Nursing Facility in Grand Island, New York. Born May 12, 1926, in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Laratta) Felicetti.
Mrs. Lucchetti attended local schools and earned a Master's degree from Niagara University in Education. She also graduated from St. Clare's Hospital School of Radiology, New York City, NY. On October 20, 1979, she married the late Louis Lucchetti. Mrs. Lucchetti was employed at Trocaire College, Buffalo, NY for over 20 years. She received a Teacher of the Year award in 1988 when she retired. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Church and served as Eucharistic Minister. She also volunteered at the previous St. Mary's Manor and distributed Holy Communion to the sick.
Mrs. Lucchetti is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Michael Shauncey) Belton, of Niagara Falls, NY, and Donna (Robert) Lucinski of Lewiston, NY; four grandchildren Megan (Joseph) Catanese, Colleen (Eric) Anzalone, Robert (Luanne) Lucinski and Ryan (Mary) Belton;six great grandchildren, Julia, Ava and Lyla Catanese, Alayna and Olivia Anzalone, and Harrison Louis Belton. Irene is also survived by a nephew, Marino (Joette) Felice; three great nephews, David Felice, Donald Felice, Michael (Bernadette) Viscomi;a great niece, Wendy Jean Viscomi; three great, great nieces Alexi Felice, Mia and Alyssa Viscomi; and one great, great, nephew, Corey Snider; and cousins.
She is predeceased by two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marie (Anthony) Felice, Jean (Dominic) Viscomi and a niece, Gloria Viscomi.

Friends may call Wednesday July 1st from 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY where funeral service will begin at 11:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph Church) or a charity of your choice.
