Iris Huntoon, 60, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Carmen (D'avilla) Rivera.

Iris was raised in Niagara Falls where she attended local schools. On September 23, 1989, she married her beloved husband, David Huntoon at the former Wintergarden in Niagara Falls.

Iris was employed as a dietary clerk at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for several years prior to her retirement in 2018. She had a love for shopping, angels and an eye for anything mauve pink. Iris also enjoyed enjoying the outdoors of her home, as well as a fresh cup of coffee. Above all, Iris centered her life around her family who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her husband of 32 years, Mrs. Huntoon is survived by her children, Anita (Alfred) Huff II, Stephanie (Ronald) Anderson and Brian Huntoon; her grandchildren, Austin Palazzo, Alexis Smith, Taylor Huff, Alfred Huff III, Gabriella Anderson and Alessandra Anderson; her siblings, Sonia (Samuel) Smith, John Rivera and Nereida Rivera; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Linda Thompson.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 7 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
