Loving Mother

Irma (Cabello) Chiodo, entered into eternal rest on Sunday May 8, 2011. She was the wife of the late Gabriel J. Chiodo.

Irma is survived by three children: Carol (Don) Fleischman of Niagara Falls, NY; David Chiodo(Amy Rushing)of Marietta, GA and Anne Chiodo of Lewiston, NY. Grandson, Chris Chiodo of Florida. Sister of Esther Bax of Las Vegas, NV; Julia Rotella of Lewiston, NY and Ralph (Madeline) Fava of Niagara Falls, NY. Sister-in-law of Joseph (Clara) Chiodo and Alfred Chiodo.
She was predeceased by sisters and brothers; Mary Tavano, Angelino Cabello, Jesse Cabello, Frank Cabello and Edith Nicoletti.

Irma was a member of the Madonna Del Perpetuo Soccorso society, and Our Lady of Lebanon Seniors club. Irma was independent, caring and loved children. She had an easy way with conversation and, especially, humor. She was always willing to help anyone in need of a favor.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 10th from 11:30AM – 12:30PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK where prayers will immediately follow at 12:30PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00PM at St. Vincent DePaul Parish at Prince of Peace Church 1055 N. Military Rd.
