Jack J. Rog, 87, of the Town of Niagara, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Labaj) Rog.

Jack was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School in 1946. He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge on March 29, 1957. On May 3, 1958 he married Sally (Delaney) Rog at St. Patrick's Church in Lockport, NY. Jack was employed as a millwright at Moore Business Forms in Niagara Falls, NY. He then worked at the Tuscarora School in Lewiston, NY from 1974 until retiring in 1992. Jack was a member of the local Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed golfing and going to the casino, but most of all Jack loved his family and centered his life around them.

In addition to his wife of fifty seven years, Jack is survived by two children Stan Rog of Niagara Falls, NY and Kathleen (Tim) Gallegos of Lewiston, NY; three grandchildren Thomas Gallegos, Daniel Gallegos and Marissa (William) Hammond, his great grandchildren, one sister Frances (Charles) Carmer of Baltimore, MD and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by five siblings.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 18th at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
