Jacqueline R. "Jackie" Slattery, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Ricardo Sr. and Beverly A. (Pullo) Ross.

Jackie was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and went on to earn her Associate's degree from Niagara County Community College. On April 25, 1981, she married the love of her life, Timothy D. Slattery in St. Joseph's Church.

Jackie began her career with Marine Midland Bank/HSBC and later worked at Thomas Cook Foreign Exchange in the Niagara Fashion Outlet Mall. Most recently, she was employed at the Seneca Niagara Casino, where she served as the Soft Count Team Supervisor for over 13 years.

A devout Catholic, Jackie was a longtime member of the Fatima Shrine Baker's Guild and the Power City Lodge #158. She enjoyed playing cards, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees, and Buffalo Sabres, and in recent years, watching wrestling. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her children, who were the center of her life.

Jackie was predeceased by her husband, Tim, in 2022. She is survived by her children, Kathleen M. Slattery and Jeremy R. Slattery; "her adopted son" Tyrone Herbert; her brother, Ricardo Ross Jr.; her aunt, Rosemarie (late Phillip) Reynolds; her uncle, Robert (Raffaela) Pullo; her beloved dog, Starlight, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 20 from 10 – 12 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, 14304, where funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine 1023 Swann Road Youngstown, NY 14174.
