James T. D'Albenzio, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully October 11, 2021 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Stephen D'Albenzio and Carmela Bonita; and beloved husband of Annette (Monczynski) D'Albenzio.

James served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1955. He was employed at Hooker Chemical Co. for over 40 years as an electrician prior to retiring in 2000.

James loved to exercise and was an avid runner. He also enjoyed completing puzzles and was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills. Above all, James' greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Annette, James is survived by his four daughters, Donna (Russell) Doane, Nancy (Mark) Major, Susan (Mark) Pino, Leann D'Albenzio; his beloved grandchildren, Christa (Geoff) Bors, James Doane, Joseph (Alex) Doane, Matthew (Melissa) Major, Daniel (Justine) Major, Thomas Major, Julianna Major, Alyssa Pino, Nicholas Pino, Julia Pino, Olivia Pino, Lauren (Greg) Howe, and was predeceased by one granddaughter, Kirsten Zacher. He was also the cherished Papa of six great-grandchildren; and the brother of Rose (late Steve) Gallaro and Thomas (Barbara) D'Albenzio. James was also predeceased by several other siblings.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 13 from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. James' Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Stephen's Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072.
