James W. Hout, Sr., 72, of the Town of Niagara, NY passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Frank and Lila (Schuler) Hout.
James was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. He was employed as a machinist and lathe operator at Union Carbide in Niagara Falls. Jim was passionate about fishing, and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
James is survived by his four children, Kimberly M. (Matt) Grace of Ransomville, NY; James W. Hout, Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY; Timothy E. (Helen) Hout of the Town of Niagara, NY and Jennifer I. Hout of Niagara Falls, NY, eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one brother Vern (late Anita) Hout of the Town of Niagara, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by three brothers, Frank Hout, Robert Hout and Jack Hout.
There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 3rd at 3 p.m. at the Tuscarora Indian Mission, 5035 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY with Rev. Donald Robinson officiating.
