James Presutti, 82, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 under the loving care of his family at Niagara Hospice in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Emedio and Anna Presutti. He was the beloved husband of fifty seven years to Joanne (Mallamaci) Presutti.

James attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1949 until his honorable discharge in 1952. James was a proud firefighter and worked for the Niagara Falls Fire Department for thirty two years. He was also the owner of Ace Sewer Cleaners of Niagara Falls, NY. He was well known for being an avid NY Yankee Fan and for his quick wit and sense of humor.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his daughters Linda (Jim Bush) Surace, Julie (Jim) Hibbard, Diane (Ron) Coty and his son Anthony (Jerri) Presutti. He was also "Dad" to his chosen daughter Jody (Kevin) Krueger. He was a devoted and loving grandfather to Kevin (Tracy) Jeffords, Teresa Senn, Michael (Shanna) Jeffords, Matthew McGovern, Kyle McGovern, Anthony Coty, Giovanna Hibbard, Angelina, Vincent and Jimmy Presutti. James is also survived by his beloved great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his brothers Frank (Yolanda) Presutti and Joseph Presutti, sisters Josephine Pellow, Linda Rucci and Yolanda Lorenti. He was the son-in-law of the late Leo and Teresa Mallamaci and brother-in-law of the late Paul (Anna) Mallamaci and Tave (Carol) Mallamaci.

Visitation will be on Friday from 2 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday June 1st at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY with Rev. Michael Zuffoletto officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow with Military Honors in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
