James A. Ross, 62 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 28, 2017 while under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born September 25, 1955 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Elizabeth (Pasquale) Ross of Niagara Falls, NY and late James Ross.

James moved to Ohio with his family in 1965 where he resided until later returning to the Niagara Falls area.  Jim was employed as a power operator with the Niagara Falls Water Board.  He was a passionate New York Yankee fan and also enjoyed playing bocce in the Niagara Falls Bocce Club.

In addition to his mother, James is also survived by his two daughters, Brittany E. Ross and Hayley M. Ross, two sisters and one brother, Carol (Ray) Galloway, Anthony (Loni) Ross and Mary Beth (Bob) Hazelet, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim's family would like to extend a special thank you to his dear friends, Jim Blose and Billy Janese.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 -8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 3 ^rd at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY .  EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.  Entombment will be held at the convenience of the family in Riverdale Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094.    Visit www.mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for guest register.
