James Ward, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Niagara Falls, NY after a brief illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late John and Caroline (Kernin) Ward; and longtime companion of Patricia Hubbard of Niagara Falls, NY.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. He was employed as a grounds keeper at Oakwood Cemetery, where he took great pride in his work for many years until his retirement. Jimmy was full of humor and wit. He enjoyed reminiscing on his favorite past time stories and hanging with friends.
Funeral services will be held privately with Interment alongside his parents in Oakwood Cemetery to follow.
