Jane N. (Gabriele) Vetrone, 82, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Dominic Gabriele and Dolly (Molinaro) Gabriele Munzi.

Jane was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area.  She attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Falls High School and later attended business school.  On September 30, 1961, she married Rito Vetrone at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  Mr. Vetrone predeceased her on March 31, 2011.  In her early years, Jane worked at Moore Business Forms and later as a cafeteria aid for the Niagara Falls Board of Education.  She was a member of the Ladies Cristoforo Colombo Society in Niagara Falls. One of Jane's greatest pleasures was going out for dinner.  Above all, she centered her life on her family and will be remembered as a selfless individual who always put the needs of her family and others before herself.

Jane is survived by her four daughters, Karen (Wally) Kajdasz, Jeannie (Lou) Paonessa, Michelle (Mark) Pirolli and Paula (Robert) Newbury; six grandchildren, Amanda Paonessa, Matthew Paonessa, Robert Newbury, Dominic Paonessa, Isabella Pirolli and Mark Pirolli; one great-grandchild, Carter Paonessa; her brother Dominic (Margaret) Gabriele; sister, Nancy (Gordon) Archer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was also predeceased by one brother Joseph Gabriele.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt.
