Janet Farulla, 74, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her residence. Born in Windber, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Zino) Tomasine.

Janet moved to Niagara Falls with her family as a child and graduated from LaSalle High School. On June 1, 1968, she married Joseph Jacob Farulla. Together they owned and operated the Waldorf Niagara Hotel in Niagara Falls until their retirement.

Janet was an active member of the Summit View Association where she currently resided for the past several years. She was an excellent cook and baker, and highly noted for her delicious Pizzelles. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Janet was predeceased by her husband on February 21, 2012. She is survived by her loving children, Jason (Heidi) Farulla and Jeanine (Michael Williams) Schultz; three grandchildren, James Edward Schultz III, Jenna Isabella Schultz and Paige Farulla; her siblings, John (Dawn) Tomasine, James (Christina) Tomasine, Joyce (Ralph) Colitti and JoAnna "Mickey" (Frank) Antonacci, as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends of the Summit View Place. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her brother, Joseph (Mabel) Tomasine.

A Celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Farulla's Life will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 10:30 A.M., in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY .
