Janice E. 'Jan' (Price) Arnone, 78 of Lake Wales, FL, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday June 26, 2010 surrounded by her loving family in Winterhaven, FL. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY the daughter of the late Eli and Ethel (McIntyre) Price. On May 2, 1964, Jan married J. Anthony 'Tony' Arnone in Our lady of the Rosary Church in Niagara Falls.

Jan began her career with the Niagara Falls Board of Education in 1977 working as a Teachers Aid in various schools throughout the City. She later went on to work in the Child Day Care Program at the Community Education Center at the former South Junior High School until her retirement in 1994. During that time, Jan also worked part time at the former Jenss Department Store in the Summit Park Mall. Following her retirement, Jan and her husband Tony spent the winter months in Florida until moving there permanently in 2003.

In addition to her loving husband of forty six years, Jan is survived by her children, Barry Dixson of Dublin, VA, Cherie L. Dixson of Pearisburg, VA, Debbie M. (Allan) Tjaden of Niagara Falls, NY, Tina L. (Michael) Baker of Niagara Falls, NY, Joseph B. (Karen) Dixson of Amherst, NY and Stephen A. (Tammy Call) Arnone of Niagara Falls, NY, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister, Edwin Price and Dorothy Morgan both of Niagara Falls, NY, Robert Price of Buffalo, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one sister Ethel Price and one granddaughter Tonia L. Dixson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARYROAD NIGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Thursday July 1st at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church 1055 North Military Road Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Bob Stolinski officiating. Entombment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY 2805 Wehrle Dr. STE. 6 Williamsville, NY 14221.
