Obituary
Jean T. Bender, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Jean was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. In 1982 she moved to Niagara Falls area where she has lived until the present time. Jean's family was the center of her life. She was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jean was predeceased by her husband John Vogt. She is survived by three children, Jean (late Robert) Prefer of Niagara Falls, NY, Richard Vogt and Joseph Vogt both of Brooklyn, NY, and was predeceased by one son Johny Vogt. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Joseph) Vekich, Robert Prefer and David Prefer, and two great-grandsons Michael Vekich and Samuel Vekich.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 19th from 6 – 7 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY concluding with a funeral service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Mann officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara, LPO Box 360, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
