Jean S. McGinley, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 30, 1929, in Niagara Falls, she was the beloved daughter of the late Vincenzo and Michelina (DeFranco) Brigante.

Jean attended local schools and began her career at Nabisco Shredded Wheat. On March 31, 1951, she married her beloved husband, Edward A. McGinley, at the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church.

Jean was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she drew immense strength and comfort from her church community. Jean was also an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan, showing her team spirit with pride. She enjoyed frequenting the Casino and the Gaming Network.

Above all, Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. Her love, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Jean leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories.

Jean is survived by her children; Frank E. McGinley, Mary Ann (Doug) Hess, Edward A. McGinley Jr., and Vincent (Kim) McGinley. Jean was the proud grandmother of Nicole Hess, Corian (Wiliam) Alexandrowicz, Patrick McGinley and Sean McGinley; her great-grandchildren Trent Hess, Damon Hess, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ed, and her seven siblings.
