Jean Nicholson, age 69, of Foley, Alabama, formerly Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Buffalo General Hospital after a courageous battle with Cancer.  Born on September 30, 1950 in Niagara Falls, NY, daughter of the late Attilio and Mary (Traina) DiRamio.

Jean married James Nicholson, Jr on August 21, 1976 in Niagara Falls, NY.  Together they moved to Foley, Alabama where they owned and operated the former Papas Pizzeria.  Jean loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Jean also loved serving her church family.

In addition to her husband of 43 years, Jean is survived by her children, Kelly (Don) Hotaling, Vincent (Mario) Nicholson and Rachael (Alex) Groen; stepchildren, Andrea Sloane and Brent Nicholson; grandchildren, Donnie Hotaling, Marissa Hotaling, Matthew Hotaling, Jacob Hotaling and Zander Groen.  Jean is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 24 ^th from 10 AM – 12 PM (noon) at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will immediately follow visitation hours at 12 PM (noon).  Prayers of committal will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nicholson family would be graciously accepted for service expenses.  Please visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
