Jean A. (Nudo) Morreale, 51, of Newfane, NY passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of Florence L. (Lavigueur) Nudo of Lockport, NY and the late Eugene J. Nudo, Jr.

Jean attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School in 1982. She then attended Buffalo State College where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Jean moved to California and taught math at Santa Monica High School. She later worked as an insurance actuary for Hewitt Associates Insurance Company in Darien, CT. In 2002 she returned to the Niagara Falls area where she lived until the present time. In her leisure time Jean enjoyed traveling. But most of all she centered her life around her family and especially loved raising her son.

In addition to her mother, Jean is survived by her son Samuel Morreale of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters, Mary (Tom) Zimmerman of Lockport, NY and Theresa (Peter) Pennesi of Memphis, TN; one nephew Charles Zimmerman and two nieces Erica Pennesi and Hayley Pennesi.

Visitation will be on Saturday January 16th from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY followed by a funeral service at 12:00 Noon and a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. at St. Vincent DePaul parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jeffrey Nowak officiating. Inurnment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY at the convenience of the family.
