Jeanette P. Alvarez, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Mary (Desantis) Yannes.

Jeanette was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended Trott Vocational High School. On February 4, 1967, she married her beloved husband Ronald A. Alvarez. Mr. Alvarez predeceased her on March 17, 2017 after 50 memorable years together.

Jeanette was employed by Patterson Logistics as a customer service representative for many years. She was an avid fan of I Love Lucy and enjoyed attending the annual Lucy Festival in Jamestown, NY. Jeanette also loved getting together with her girlfriends every month, but above all, she especially loved spending time with her loving family and countless friends.

Jeanette is survived by her three children, Lorrie (Laura) Alvarez, Michael A. (Lisa) Alvarez, Kelly (Len) Freiermuth; six grandchildren, Jourdan and Skylar, Kyle and Brystol, Carl and Kayla; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Loretta (Gary) Lowe.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 14 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Private entombment will be held for Jeanette's family at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
