Jeanette L. (Catanzaro) Palumbo, age 74 passed away suddenly on September 1, 2017 following a brief illness.  Born in the East End of Niagara Falls, NY on March 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Joseph 'Pepe' and Louise Catanzaro.  She is also predeceased by her sister, Rosalie (late Joseph) Leone, a nephew, Joseph Catanzaro as well as her father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Angela Pace.

Jeanette was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and later received her cosmetology license.  She married her beloved husband, Leonard J. Palumbo in 1965 for whom she was married to for 43 years.  He predeceased her on September 3, 2008.  Jeanette was a devout Catholic.  She was a longtime member of St. Peter's Church in Lewiston as well as their Altar and Rosary Society and Pro-Life Group.  She moved to Lewiston in 1973 and remained there in her beautiful home until her passing.

Jeanette is survived by her two sons, Leonard J. Palumbo, II and David M. (Marisa) Palumbo, her grandson, Dominic Palumbo, two brothers, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who she cherished greatly, including her pets.

There will be no prior visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 5 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street Lewiston, NY.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.    Arrangements by M.J.
