Jennie (DiLaura) Dorato, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Friday February 22, 2013 at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Anna (Muscarello) DiLaura.

Jennie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. She worked for the Niagara Falls Board of Education until retiring at the age of seventy. Jennie enjoyed being with her family and especially liked cooking for them. She also enjoyed completing word puzzles and spending time with her loving dog "Basil."

Jennie is survived by three children Joey (late Gayle) DiLaura, Caroline Gravelle, Michael (Denise) Dorato and was predeceased by her daughter Anna M. Dorato. She is also survived by eight grandchildren Greg, Aaron, Michael, Keith, Joseph, Robert, Kevin and Kathy; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 – 5 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will be held on her 89th birthday, Monday February 25th at 10 a.m. with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
